The Bahamas Defeats USA, Second In Group B

The opportunities were there again on match day two and this time, team Bahamas cashed in.

The hosts overcame an early deficit to defeat the USA 3-2, and earn their first win of this year’s CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championships.

The Bahamas got goals from Wood Julmis – his second of the tournament, Brandon Adderley, and Timothy Munnings.

Cody Valcarcel placed the USA on the board first with his goal at the seventh minute of the first period.

In the second, Adderley scored the equalizer for the hosts at minute four.

In the third, The Bahamas got the go ahead goal from Julmis, and another from Munnings to seal the win.

The Bahamas returns to the sand tonight to take on Trinidad and Tobago. A win in regualtion or overtime secures second place in group b and a spot in the semifinal.
