Jalyn Pinder Inks Deal With Texas Rangers

The Texas Rangers continue to mine for diamonds in the rough and explore the Bahamian market for local prospects.

Jayln Pinder became the latest to join the Rangers organization when he signed his Minor League deal Saturday afternoon at Superclubs Breezes.

Pinder, a 16-year-old infield/outfield prospect out of the International Elite Sports Academy, said the event was a milestone not just for him, but for others following in his footsteps.

Pinder left today for the Dominican Republic to join the club’s farm system in preparation for rookie baseball.

He becomes the fourth Bahamian to join the farm system of the 2023 World Series Champions.

Pinder joins top overall prospect Sebastian Walcott, Rashawn Pinder, and Dave Neely in the pipeline.
