Kai Jones continues to go back and forth between the NBA and the G-League, but when he is in the G, he continues to pst dominant performances.
Jones finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds, both season highs, for the San Diego Clippers in last night’s 103-96 loss to the Oklahoma City Blues at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
Jones scored 16 in the first half to keep the Clippers in contention, but they trailed 54-50 at the half.
San Diego took their first lead of the game midway through the fourth quarter, fueled by five points from Jones, but the Blues regained the lead on the next possession and held on for the win.
On a two-way contract with the LA Clippers in the NBA, Jones has spent time with both teams this season.
In 6 G-League appearances, he’s averaging 14.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
In 27 NBA appearances, Jones is averaging just over two points in seven minutes per game.
