Brent Moss had a breakout freshman season in his Barton Cougars run at the JUCO National Title, but he may be even better this season as a sophomore.
One week after being named the KJCCC player of the week, Moss took it up a notch and was named the NJCAA National Player of The Week.
The Cougars finished 2-1 over the course of the week and Moss put up some of the best numbers in the country, 25 points and 12.7 rebounds per game.
In last Wednesday’s 112-111 loss to Independence he finished with 40 points and 20 rebounds, both career highs.
The Cougars recently fell out of the top 25 but have reeled off back-to-back wins against ranked teams including last night’s 91-86 win over number 23 Hutchinson.
Moss finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
