Ayton Post Double-Double In Win

Deandre Ayton is battling trade rumors, the Miami Heat are spiraling out of control, perfect conditions for DA to go on the road and dominate.

Ayton finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Portland Trailblazers to a 116-107 win last night at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

He shot 11-14 from the field and with his 18th double double, finished with his second highest scoring output and third highest rebounding output of the season.

Early in the third, Ayton scored eight points to spark a 21-8 run to give the Blazers a commanding 86-63 lead.

The Blazers log jam at center with Ayton, rookie Donovan Clingan, and Robert Williams III has led to speculation that Ayton may me moved ahead of the nba’s February 6 trade deadline.

Portland continues the Florida swing tomorrow night when they visit the Orlando Magic.

In the Eastern Conference, Eric Gordon scored nine points in the Philadeplia 76ers’ 144-108 loss to the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena in Denver.

Gordon made 3-4 shots from beyond the arch.

The 76ers lost their 7th consecutive game and are now 2-10 in January.
