College Football Week 8 – 5 and out

After taking a couple weeks off to figure out college football, I have realized that I will have all the answers at the end of the season. In the meantime here’s what you need to know from this past weekend in college football.

  1. The SEC west is the toast of the college football world. 2 teams from that division will be making the college football playoff. They currently have 4 out of the top 5 teams in the nation…… that is incredible.
  2. Staying in the SEC…….. What happen to Florida? They are long gone from the Tebow glory days, and Will Muschamp is about to get fired quick, fast and in a hurry. Some people in this world are supposed to stay as coordinators.
  3. The Big 12 has just eliminated themselves from the college football playoff. With Baylor going down to West Virginia, Oklahoma losing for the second time this season, the lack of a conference championship game will haunt them.
  4. Florida State has the luck of the Seminole? Notre Dame lost a heart breaker in Tallahassee, where Jameis Winston proved that he is Clutch when it matters…… on the football field. Look for FSU to run through the rest of the ACC schedule and take a spot in the college football playoff.
  5. Look for the PAC 12 and BIG 10 to fight hard for that last playoff spot through the media. Also don’t be surprised if the committee puts in 3 SEC teams in the college football playoff.
