The BAAAs has selected and ratified an 78 member team to represent The Bahamas at the 52nd carifta track and field championships, April 19th to 21st at the Hasley Crawford Stadium in Trinidad and Tobago.
The 78 member team is second only to the 2023 team of 80 athletes when The Bahamas hosted the event at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium.

Thus far, The Bahamas has named the largest team of any nation headed to this year’s meet.
Perennial champions Jamaica will chase their 39th consecutive title with a 76 member team.
Barbados will field a 52 member team while Grenada and Guyana will have 33 and 30 athletes respectively.
The hosts Trinidad and Tobago recently held their trials over the weekend, but have yet to officially name their team.
