For the fifth time, The Bahamas will host one of the landmark events on the world athletics calendar, bringing the top relay teams from around the world back to a revamped Thomas A Robinson Stadium.
At the the world athletics council in Nanjing, China, the international governing body officially announced that The Bahamas will host the World Relays in 2028.
The event will take place April 22nd and 23rd of 2028.
The Bahamas previously hosted in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2024.
The meet serves as a platform for national teams to compete in various relay disciplines, often acting as a qualifier for major championships like the Olympic Games or World Championships.
