Kai Jones continues to make the most of this late season run for the Dallas Mavericks.
A perfect night from the field, the obligatory dunk highlight and a win for the Dallas Mavericks.
Jones finished with 13 points on 5-5 shooting from the field and added nine rebounds in the Mavericks 120-103 win over the Brooklyn Nets last night at Barclay’s Center in New York.
Since he was signed to a two-way deal in late February, Jones has been one of the most consistent standouts in the Mavericks’ shorthanded frontcourt.
Through four games he’s averged 15.5 points and 8.8 rebounds in just about 28 minutes per game.
More importantly, the Mavericks are 2-2 during that stretch.
Dallas improved to 35-37, in a neck-and-neck race with Phoenix Suns for the final western conference play-in spot.
