With a new team, barely any time to get acclimated to his new teammates or new city, Kai Jones went out and had the best game of his nba career.
Jones finished with a career high 21 points on 9-10 shooting from the field and grabbed nine rebounds in his Dallas Mavericks 122-98 loss to the Sacramento Kings last night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
The Mavericks signed Jones to a two-way contract Monday as they continue to deal with injuries to multiple big men.
Originally drafted by the New York Knicks in 2021, Jones appeared in 28 games with the Clippers this season while playing more for their G-League team. He averaged 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.
