Ayton Dominates Suns In Consecutive Games

Maybe Deandre Ayton had a point to prove, maybe it was just another game, but the former number one overall pick dominated his former team and lead his current one to their fourth consecutive win.

Ayton finished with a team high 25 points, and a season high 20 rebounds in the Blazers’ 121-119 win over the Phoenix Suns at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

He also made 7 of his season high 8 free throw attempts, including 4-5 down the stretch in overtime to seal the win for the Blazers.

Monday night’s performance followed up his most efficient offensive game of the season where he finished with 24 points on 11-12 shooting in the Blazers’ 127-108 win over the Suns saturday night.

With back to back wins over the Suns, the Blazers have won eight of their last nine games and improved to 21-29.

Over the win streak, Ayton has averaged 23 points and 12.3 rebounds per game while shooting 66 percent from the field.
