VJ Edgecombe seems to be getting the hang of this college basketball thing.
Edgecombe continued his best stretch of the season and finished with 28 points in his Baylor Bears 93-89 overtime loss to the BYU Cougars last night at the Marriott Center in Utah.
He shot 9-15 from the field, a season high 6-8 from three point range and added five assists in 43 minutes.
In a game filled with high profile prospective NBA talent on both teams, Edgecombe’s performance stood out.
Over the last four games, Edgecombe has averaged 24.3 points per game and shot 58 percent from beyond the arch.
Baylor returns home this weekend to face AJ Storr and his 11th ranked Kansas Jayhawks, Saturday at 3 pm.
